Grey Horse 3, Killinghall Arms 2. : After a fairly even first 20 minutes Horse took the lead when Ian Caygill rounded off a move instigated by Stephen Appleby.
Darren Tate made it two before Killie woke up and John Henderson pulled one back. Killie started the second half in determined fashion but received a setback when Danny Fleary received his marching orders following a late tackle. Tate soon restored Horse's two-goal advantage when he shot home from 20 yards following a good run by Peter Gormley. Sub Danny Hannifin reduced the arrears late on and only the crossbar and a fortunate goal line clearance stopped Killie from earning a share of the spoils.
Hole In The Wall 1, Greyhound 0.
A hard fought encounter saw defences dominating and there were few goalscoring opportunities in he first half. The stalemate continued in the second half with Wall defender Martyn Bell's outstanding tackling saving the day on a number of occasions. Greyhound missed a golden opportunity to lead when a forward rounded the keeper but his shot was chested off the line by David Wilson. Penalty appeals were waved away and 10 minutes later insult was added to injury when Gary Wilson finished off an excellent move with a shot into the top corner. Greyhound failed to keep their heads following the blow and were reduced to 10 men when a Wall player was wrestled to the ground. Wall remained composed and a last minute goaline clearance secured them their best win of the season.
Challenge Cup 2nd Round
Shuttle & Loom 1, Newton Aycliffe 2.
This was an excellent encounter between two rapidly improving teams. All the goals came in the first half with Chris Airey putting Shuttle ahead. Will Swinburn equalised after 25 minutes and 17-year-old Stuart Owen notched the winner. Shuttle were aggrieved not to be awarded a penalty in an evenly contested second half as Aycliffe clung on for victory.

Heighington 3, Barnard Castle 1.
The first semi-final saw Pritchard make an excellent save prior to Heighington taking an interval lead when Barry Shaw scored from distance. The lead was increased when Pritchard handled a back pass and Shaw duly converted the free kick. The Barney youngsters tired in the heavy going and Steven Odle made it three. Three substitutions were instrumental in a late rally by Barney and one replacement, Joe Baum, pulled one back with a long-range shot and the final score would have been closer had sub Scott Wardle's effort not been disallowed for offside. Two of the sides involved at the top of the league fought out a tight encounter at Shildon where home side Elm Road WMC took on Stillington The Royal. Royal picked up the points with a 3-2 victory. Elm Road took the early honours to go one-up through Ian Maddison with Royal hitting back with a double from Paul Cleary, Carl Dawson made it all square at 2-2 before the break, in the second period a rare Martin Corney goal broke the deadlock and for the last ten minutes Royal had to defend their advantage as Elm pressed for the equaliser
Two goals in the 80th and 81st minute gave Darlington The Mowden victory over a much-improved Darlington GSOB side. Jimmy Morris gave Old Boys an interval lead but five minutes into the second half John Mellis had the sides level, from then on the play was fairly even until a mad two minutes - first Callum Rielly netted a header then Gary Varty's long lob bounced over the keeper who was stood well off his line.
The Darlington Dalesman and Chilton Community College encounter was also a close fought game. Paul Prince put Dalesman in front after ten minutes with Steve Ryder levelling direct from a corner kick. The points were sealed for College when David Tate slotted home two minutes before the break.
A brace apiece for Andy Hughes and Chris Marksby, with one for Matthew Cole, saw Darlington Travellers Rest home 5-3 against Darlington Archdeacon after leading 2-1 at half-time.
Tindale WMC did the league proud as they won through to the final of the Auckland Charity Cup when they defeated Shildon Railway in a penalty shoot-out. From two goals down they fought back to 2-2 then went behind again only for man of the match Billy Latcham to take the tie into extra time with four minutes remaining.
League officials believe this is the first time they've had a representative in the final.

Richmond Mavericks set up a semi-final meeting with Dormans but not before being shocked by Darlington RA Reserves who took a 2-0 lead inside the first 20 minutes. Darren Kokes slotted home in the sixth minute to give the RA a shock lead, 13 minutes later he was on target again when he chipped the keeper with his 19th of the season. The Mavericks struck back ten minutes before half time when Andrew Mollitt scored with a low drive, Phil Stirling then made it all square at 2-2 just before half time when he knocked home a low cross. In the second half the match was very evenly balanced but in the 75th minute Mavericks took a 3-2 lead when Wayne Gredziak scored a great header and in the last minute Mavericks' Andrew Blenkharn broke clear and ran on to score.

Darlington Albion 2 Whinney Banks 2
after an even 30 minutes Darlington Albion's Trenton Hewitt gave them the lead. This remained the score up to the half-time break and ten minutes into the second half the Albion doubled their lead through David Hubble's first of the season. Whinney Banks fought back and manger Andy Lockwood lead from the front by pulling it back to 2-1 in the 57th minute. With five minutes remaining a penalty was awarded to Whinney Banks and John Blamires scored his seventh of the season from the spot to earn a point.

in the first half the match was very evenly balanced but on the hour a free kick that seemed to be miss-hit found Wayne King who gave Cleveland Bridge a 1-0 lead with his fourth of the season. The home side pressed forward but were caught on the counter attack five minutes later when Stuart Hardy picked up the ball ran at the Link defence beating four players before scoring a brilliant individual goal to secure the points. They now lead the group with two more games to play.

Darlington SRM 0 Richmond Town 7
Second Division side Darlington SRM entertained First Division Richmond Town with a place in the semi-finals waiting for the winners. The first 20 minutes were very even with DSRM going close to making the breakthrough but in the 25th minute Richard Thompson gave Richmond Town the lead and a minute before half time Michael Sartini made it 2-0. In the second half a lack of discipline by the home side saw them slip further behind when Matthew Hill made it 3-0 in the 67th minute, he added his second and his side's fourth two minutes later. DSRM were reduced to nine men when they had two players sent off and Richmond took advantage to add further goals through Dave Hill in the 75th minute and Matthew Hill scored twice more in the 80th and 83rd minute to make it 7-0.
