A SWIMMING pool, which was recently threatened with closure, has been shut temporarily because of problems with its filtration unit.
An underground pipe fracture is thought to be the cause of the fault at Guisborough pool.
An investigation is under way and it is still unclear how long the pool must stay shut.
More than 3,500 people signed a petition against Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's proposal to close the pool earlier this month.
