Toddlers are learning all about music and having fun at the same time.
The sessions are being staged at the Tantobie Community Centre, near Stanley, County Durham.
Vocalist Carole Clegg, who runs the group, said: "It is an opportunity for children to be with their parents and have quality time and fun singing.
"There are the underlying educational principles as well of listening, developing self esteem and language development.
"The children also learn how to keep rhythm, along with concepts of fast and slow, high and low and long and short."
Ms Clegg said she had done similar lessons in Edinburgh and when people in the community found out they asked her to start them in Tantobie.
She said: "This is the second series I am doing. Each one has a different theme, such as Christmas, Easter, water or colours."
Community Centre trustee Rosemary Black said: "We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to children in the community."
Half hour sessions, for children aged one to three years, are held at 10am and 10.45am every Monday. For details, call (01207) 233146 or 07751 699084
