A TEENAGER has become the first driver to have his car seized in a Durham Police crackdown on boy racers.
Police saw the 19-year-old, from Esh Winning, performing handbrake turns in the Arnison Centre car park at Pity Me, on Tuesday night.
He had been warned last month so officers had his Citroen Saxo towed away.
He must pay a £105 recovery fee and daily storage charges of £12 and also faces being summonsed to court on a charge of careless driving.
