At the recent Hambleton and Richmondshire area gymnastics competition held at Northallerton Leisure Centre two Bedale High School pupils won their respective O13 individual floor and vault competition.
Competing against gymnasts from eight other secondary schools in the area, Francesca Clayton (pictured) won the O13 girls floor and vault competition and Daniel Theaker won the boys O13 floor and vault competition.
"Both pupils have been members of the Bedale High School Gymnastics Club for several years and their dedication has been duly rewarded. Both Francesca and Daniel are also the captains of the high school teams that won the team floor and vault at the same competition," said Head of Physical Education, Mr Martyn Coombs
