After a quiet period, wheat prices have jumped back up again. This is due to a combination of slow farm sales, a weaker sterling and some supply agreement contracts being agreed. New crop values improved a little on the back of currency. Oilseed prices have also had a slightly better time as soya prices have kept improving over concerns about S American crops where it is too wet in some places and too dry in others.
