The home side had singles wins from Steve Smith, Ron Smith, John Moore, Jimmy Fleming and Billy Wragg with Steve and Ron Smith adding one doubles point and Billy Wragg and Jimmy Fleming the other. The Quarry had singles points from Dave Edmundson, Brian McCabe and Jack Archer and finished by taking the team game.
Byers Green Royal Oak lead the table by ten points from Willington Lion and Unicorn, who are one points ahead of Cottles, who have a match in hand.

Crook Ladies Darts League
The top two teams in the completed league will now meet in the final of the League Cup. Crook Jelly's Bar B, the league runners-up, beat their hosts at Crook Cricket Club by a very comfortable seven points margin. However, the league champions, Crook Queen's Head A were made to struggle at home before they edged out the visiting Victoria Club in the deciding double points team game. The singles were shared and the Queen's moved ahead when they took the doubles by the odd point but then clinched victory by taking the team game. Marie Spence hit 121 for the Victoria while Dawn Harrison added 120 for the Queen's.

Joiners Arms clinched the second division title with a win at Earl Derby in the penultimate match of the season. Just two points separate Surtees B and Coach and Horses in the fight for the remaining promotion spot.
Belle Vue are already confirmed as first division champions and Fleece A and Surtees A are the contenders for runners up place. The dominoes sections are both set for an exciting finish to the season. Belle Vue top division one with 60 points but Fleece A and Mill House are just a point behind. Royal George lead the way in division two with 59 points but have played all their fixtures. They look certain to be overhauled by Coach and Horses on 57 points and Fleece B on 53 who both have a game in hand.
