AN initiative to raise awareness of help and support available to job hunters has been held in Hartlepool.
The event took place at the Abbey Street Project, on the Headland, and was organised by Hartlepool Borough Council's Hartlepool Working Solutions team.
There was the chance to talk to staff from the team, as well as staff from Hartlepool Action Team for Jobs who gave information about jobs and training opportunities.
Hartlepool United Football Club mascot, H'Angus the Monkey, and Radio Hartlepool were also at the event.
Caron Auckland, assistant project officer at Hartlepool Working Solutions, said: "It was a great way for job hunters to find out about all the help and support we can offer."
