Harrogate's home course advantage for the final round proved too much for Bedale ladies. Holders Bedale could not overturn Harrogate's two point advantage, and eventually finished ten points behind. The trophy was presented to Harrogate by Bedale captain, Ena Black.

Dales Alliance: The 2004 season began with the first round at Blackwell, and the hosts claimed top spot, with 199 points. Second were Catterick, with 195, followed by Crook (194), Bedale (183), Thirsk & Northallerton (182) and Richmond (148). The second round, at Bedale, was also won by the hosts, with 193 points. Catterick scored 184, followed by Blackwell (181), Crook (175), Thirsk & Northallerton (167), and Richmond (165). Overall positions: Blackwell (380); Catterick (379); Bedale (376); Crook (349); Thirsk & Northallerton (349), and Richmond (313). This week's prizewinners were S.Griffiths & R.Burliegh (Bedale, 41 points); R.Gent & M.Temple (Blackwell, 40 points), R.Severs & K.Griffiths (Blackwell, 40 points), and S.Simpson & D.Simpson (Catterick, 40 points).
