A TEACHER from a village school raised just over £100 for charity after taking part in a half-marathon.
Stephanie Phillips, from Vancouver, in Canada, is teaching at Hurworth School Computing and Maths College, near Darlington, for a year.
The PE teacher is a fitness fan and decided to take part in the Redcar half-marathon.
She got staff at the school to sponsor her and decided to donate the money she raised to Macmillan Nurses
