Auckland Area CIU League: Old Shildon entertained West Auckland with the pool section title at stake as they shared the top spot.
However after they drew, they meet again in the play-offs at Newton Aycliffe Horndale. Alan Bell junior and Michael Aldworth won for Old Shildon with John Richardson and John Wyman winning for West Auckland.
West Auckland emphasised their victory in the darts section when they won by the odd point at Old Shildon. Tom Bell and Michael Aldworth won for the home side with Chris Kitch and Tony Mundell adding singles to the team game for West Auckland.
Eldon Lane clinched the whist title with a draw against the visiting Horndale, who take the runners-up spot. John Bell and Raymond Race won for Eldon with George Mills and Jackie Coatsworth replying.
Horndale took the title in the fives and threes section with victory at Eldon Lane. Ray Race took the only point for Eldon, whilst Chris Musgrave, George Mills and Davey Hodgson.
Old Shildon landed the dominoes title in their first season in league when they drew with the visiting West Auckland. Alan Bell and Keith Gittens won for the home side with Ronnie Williams and Mick Townsend replying.
The darts captain's winner was Barry Shippen of Horndale with Darren yeoman of Evenwood in second place. Tommy Ward and John Richardson won the darts pairs with the runners-up spot to be decided after a play-off.
Ian Bowes of West Auckland won the dominoes Captains League with George Mills in second place. Mick Townsend and Ian Bowes of West Auckland won the dominoes pairs with Harry Ellison and Alan Lamb of Cockton Hill in second place.
The whist captain's and pairs winners have to be decided after play-offs. Brian Coglan of Eldon Lane won the 5's and 3's captains league with Keith Gittens of Old Shildon in second place. John Collingwood and Alan Bell won the 5's and 3's pairs title with Tony Webb and Mick Holmes of Evenwood in second place.
Terry Race of Eldon Lane won the captain's pool title with Colin Bell of Old Shildon in second place. John Richardson and Brian Denham of West Auckland won the pool pairs with Russell Place and Peter Race of Cockton Hill in second place.

Willington Club B stretched their lead at the top of the darts section following their three points victory at Willington Market. This moved them to a sixteen points lead over Sunnybrow Brown Trout, who are three ahead of Willington Club A.

Ferryhill continued their unbeaten run in the pool section to become the early leaders by three points after they whitewashed their hosts at Willington. Tindale Crescent and Crook Belle Vue share the second spot.
