A NEW face has joined the team within the mental health department of a Darlington borough hospital.
Ros Simpson has taken on the role as NHS liaison officer at Middleton St George Hospital.
She has joined the Affinity Healthcare team, which offers mental health services at the hospital and aims to make services more efficient and identify areas of future development.
Kim Law, of Affinity Healthcare, said: "Having Ros on board will help us develop and maintain our relationships with GPs and primary care trusts in the North-East, and ensure that the services we provide meet the needs of the community."
Ms Simpson, who is from Northumberland, joins the team after working in regional television for 18 years followed by a short spell in the pharmaceutical industry.
