Sir, - Yet more publicity in the D&S (Mar 12)for the Scotton Owl and Raptor Rehabilitation Centre being run without planning permission.
Could someone please explain to me how charitable status has been granted to a business that does not have planning permission and hasn't even waited for the outcome of their appeal before seeking such status.
With reference to the website, "soon to be up and running", it is already up and running and has been for some times and inviting donations.
We feel that Mrs Fowler is taking great delight in all this free publicity, especially as she is well aware of the strength of feeling in this road against the sanctuary. What a shame she is alienating her neighbours.
