BOX office staff are gearing up to put tickets on sale for one of the region's most popular pantomimes.
Every year, tickets for the show at York's Theatre Royal go on sale at 9am on April 1.
The pantomime attracts nearly 55,000 people a year and fans queue from 5am to make sure that they get the best seats in the house.
This year's production is Cinderella and will once again star stalwart performer Berwick Kaler.
Theatre staff will don their favourite pantomime costumes and welcome ticket-seekers with tea and coffee as they arrive at the theatre. Tickets can be bought from the box office in person on Thursday - or by telephone from Friday on (01904) 623568. Tickets will not be sold over the phone before Friday.
