PROUD grandmother Susanha Ballan has welcomed her 114th grandchild into the family.
The 88-year-old, from Bishop Auckland, has ten children, 40 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Baby Annaleaha is not only the 114th addition to the family, but also represents the fifth generation of women.
Annaleaha's grandmother, Denise Mackay, said: "We do have a big family and we are all very close. I think we would need a football pitch to fit us all on if we were to have a big family party. Nana is very proud of us all and she tries to buy each of us a little something at Christmas.
"She never gets any of us mixed up and can tell you what each of us does and who we are.''
Mrs Ballan is very close to all her grandchildren.
She said she was proud of great-granddaughter Catherine and her new daughter Annaleaha.
She said: "I think she is lovely I am very proud of her.''
