A SUPERMARKET hopes there will be plenty in store to help two hospices.
Tesco is supporting the UK's hospices this year as its adopted charity.
At the weekend Mary Butterwick, founder of Butterwick Hospice Care, launched the start of a drive by the Tesco store, in Billingham, to raise funds for the Butterwick and Hartlepool Hospices.
Lucy Neville Rolfe, group director of Tesco corporate affairs, said: "We hope that the money raised by our staff and suppliers will go some way to help ensure the ongoing work of the hospice movement, which provides care and support for those with and the families of those with life threatening illnesses.''
