Crook Individual League

Lee Cullinan pulled out his best form when he played Chris Peacock and brought off the surprise of the competition so far when he won all three points. In the first two frames Cullinan took advantage of errors by Peacock to take the points, but in the third showed he could win without assistance.

Aaron Cowan is a gifted player but this season nothing will go right for him as he again failed to open his points tally when he went down to Darren Tinkler, who moved up to share top spot in the table. The first frame could have gone either way, but Tinkler made a good clearance in the second. After a series of safety shots in the third, Tinkler got the opening and took out his seven balls and the black.

Richard Walker's odd point win over Simon Bowey featured a second frame clearance by Walker. Bowey then should have whitewashed Cullinan but missed an easy black, allowing Cullinan to tie him up and capitalise. Doug Bowey edged through to an odd point win over Stuart Hall.

Results: Doug Bowey 2 Stuart Hall 1; Richard Walker 2 Simon Bowey 1; Chris Peacock 0 Lee Cullinan 3; Darren Tinkler 3 Aaron Cowan 0; Simon Bowey 2 Lee Cullinan 1.
