Willington Ladies League: Big wins in the darts section for Sunybrow Brown Trout and Willington Market lifted them into second and third places respectively, although Willington Club B, who were without a match, still lead the section by nine points.
In the dominoes section, Willington Burn had their lead at the top cut to two points when they lost by the odd point at Willington Cottles B, who moved into third place. Willington Market's three points win at Will. Club A put them in second place, three points ahead of Cottles B.

CIU League
There were two major shocks in the pool section when two of the top teams were soundly beaten. Reigning pool champions, Ferryhill went down to the visiting Crowtrees with only one point to their credit, scored when Simon Corbridge won. The visitors' success came from wins by Davey Gleason, Ray Miller, Alan Blakey and Colin Barron.
Middlestone Moor also caused a shock when they whitewashed the visiting Crook Belle Vue with wins from Davey Griffiths, Billy Bowman, Davey Casen, George Robinson and Geoff Casen. Despite these results Ferryhill lead the table by two points from the Prospect, who are two ahead of four teams including Crook Belle Vue.
Byers Green dropped their first point of the season in the darts section against the visiting Willington. Crook Belle Vue are one point behind them in the darts table with Ferryhill a further three points adrift. There were maximums for Gary Galloway of Crowtrees and Billy Harland of Willington, whilst the best check-out came from Robbie Douthwaite of Cockton Hill with a 155 finish.
Byers Green lead the dominoes section by two points from Newfield, Cockton Hill and Crook Belle Vue.

Crook Cup
Crook Surtees pulled off surprise victory at Crook Olde Horse Shoe A in the semi-final to earn the right to play Crook Travellers Rest B in the final of the First Division Trophy.
The Olde Horse Shoe had snooker points from Cliffy Owen, Dave Walker and Brian Johnson with Walker and Johnson adding the doubles, whilst the Surtees replied with wins from Chris Bainbridge, Bob Heslop and Dickie Allison. The Shoe then added dominoes points through Richard Walker, Cliffy Owen and Lisa Bullawell with the Surtees having wins from Fred Hunt, Dickie Allison and Howard Trotter. The match was squared when Alan Tomlinson and Chris Bainbridge won the dominoes doubles to send the match to the decider. The Surtees won through when Chris Bainbridge beat Dave Walker in the decider.
In the Second Division Trophy Crook Queen's Head A won at Crook White Swan B by three points to qualify to meet Crook Coach and Horses B in the final. The Swan had snooker points from Stuart McClean, Steph Gill and Louie Holmes with Andrew Finch and Carl Maddison adding dominoes points. The Queen's went to victory with snooker points from Neil Harker, Tommy Longstaff and Phil Hall with dominoes points coming from Dougie Smailes, Phil Hall, Peter Genner and Tommy Longstaff. Victory was assured when Peter Genner and Dougie Smailes beat Kevin carter and Dave Brown in the dominoes doubles.

Auckland Area CIU League
Old Shildon landed the pool section championship at the end of their first season in the league but they were taken to the extra deciding frame before overcoming West Auckland at Horndale. The match went two each with the teams having to nominate their player to play the decider. Old Shildon edged to the championship when Michael Aldworth beat John Richardson.
Russell Place of Cockton Hill won the play-off for the whist captain's league, whilst Tony Mundell and Neil Pinkney of West Auckland won the play-off for the darts pairs r-up.
