Ferryhill Town Youth: THE Under-10s, sponsored by Lloyds Brierley Hill, played Stockton Town Athletic at home, winning 6-0. Ferryhill dominated the game and found themselves 3-0 up at half time with goals from David Gibson followed by two from Matthew Harker.
The second half was very much the same. Nathan Ball scored the fourth followed by Kieran Harnett, Matthew Harker got the sixth goal to give him a hat-trick.
Great team work from all players. Man of the match was Jake Pearson.
The friendly match saw Ferryhill 1-0 down just after kick off in the second half. Christopher Devine pulled it back to 1-1. Ferryhill were then awarded a penalty. Callum West put it in to the back of the net then scored again shortly afterwards. Christoper Devine scored the fourth and the last goal again came from a penalty put away by Kieran Harnett giving Ferryhill a 5-1 win. Man of the Match was awarded to Ben McDermott.
The Under-12s, sponsored by Javeline Group, were at home to Seaton Carew Juniors. Seaton scored first before Ferryhill lifted their game by scoring four goals, two for Kris Royal and one each for Craig Stanworth and Timothy Fenny. In the second half Ferryhill increased their lead with goals from Craig Stanworth and Mathew Jackson. Seaton never gave in and with a very good team performance they scored three more goals. Credit to both teams for a sporting and well contested game. Ferryhill's man of the match went to Timothy Fenny. Final score was Ferryhill Town Youth 6, Seaton Carew Juniors 4.
