The Allstars Under-10s, who play in the Teesside Alliance League Durham Division One, won the league with four games left to play.

Eldon Lions who were second, with three games to play and 13 points behind.

"This is a fantastic accolade as the squad has worked extremely hard this season to maintain their high standard of tactical, good spirited football," a spokesman said.

The squad have been very successful, winning the following silverware last season: League, League Cup, Longfield Tournament, Nestle Rowntree Tournament, Norton and Stockton Tournament, Spraire Lads Tournament.

The squad have so far this season played 17 games and are undefeated as a result of some fantastic coaching from Kev Roddy, Dave Simpson and Nigel Riley.

This is a fantastic squad with a great team spirit and an excellent conduct record and next season they move into 11-a-side football.

The Under-11s were at home to Eldon Lions and settled early, playing some fantastic football taking every opportunity to hit the back of the net. The whole squad worked hard and the result was well deserved 18-1 victory with Luke Thompson scoring a fantastic eight goals for which he was named man of the match. Other scorers were Danny Thomson (2), Josh Phillips (3), Josh Park (2), Bradley Dye, Liam Brown and James Nevins.

The Under-11 C team were hosts to Cargo Fleet in the league and found it hard to settle. Both teams worked hard to control the midfield and a tremendous goal by Thomas Airey kept the Allstars in the game and sharing the points in this 1-1 draw. Man of the match was Tom Brown.

The Under-12s, sponsored by R Bland Ltd, were at home to Marton Hall Drive and found it hard to settle against a strong, well organised side and the game ended in a 1-0 defeat. Man of the match went to Matthew Carnelley.

The Under-13s were hosts to Lingdale Athletic in the league and found themselves 3-1 up. The Allstars worked well together and tried hard for every ball. Lingdale came back with two quick goals that changed the course of the game The Allstars started to tire and Lingdale pushed on and the game ended in a 5-3 defeat. Scorers were Liam Clarke (2) and Louis Jarvie with Liam Coates named man of the match for a fantastic defensive display.

The Under-13 C team were at home to Hardwick Youth in the league and once again fielded a squad torn through injury and were still without their resident keeper. Hardwick scored two early goals, but the Allstars never gave up and kept working hard to win every ball. The game ended in a 3-1 defeat, but this was a good spirited performance by both sides. Mark Ellerton scored and Oliver Webster, who stood in as goalkeeper, was named man of the match.

The Under-15s were away to Marton Hall Drive in the league and lost 4-2 with Jonathon Vinton and Rob Moore scoring and Richard Hughes named man of the match.

The Under-16s were at home to Coulby Newham in the league and pulled off a fantastic, well disciplined performance. The Allstars settled well and worked hard to contain the midfield. A hat trick from Darryl Roberts, a goal from Liam Francis and an own goal by Coulby saw the game end in a 5-0 well deserved win. Roberts was man of the match.
