Burness Plate: D'ton RA Res 7 D'ton Albion 0: Darlington RA Reserves consolidated second place in group three of the Burness Plate mini-league with a 7-0 win.
The RA opened the scoring after only two minutes when Dean Lawson scored, Darren Kokes added the second in the 10th minute and he then went on to add two further goals in the 22nd and 35th minute to make it 4-0 at half-time. In the second the RA went on to add further goals through Mark Flood in the 48th minute, Lawson made it 6-0 in the 52nd minute and Kokes scored his fourth of the match and 24th of the season to wrap up the scoring in the 59th minute.

Richmond Mvrks 4, Darlington CB 1
the home side started brightly and took a 12th minute lead through Mark Fleetwood, but the Cleveland Bridge bounced straight back and equalised three minutes later through Darren Wray who powered home a header from a corner. Fleetwood restored the Mavericks advantage in the 18th minute with a brilliant volley into the top corner of the net. The opening ten minutes of the second half were very even but Gary Nicholson gave the Mavericks a 3-1 lead when he scored with a powerful header from a corner and in the 73rd minute Fleetwood secured his hat-trick with a powerful shot from ten yards to secure a place in the next round.
Division One
Bedale FC 0 BEADS FC 0
in an evenly balanced game neither side could make the breakthrough and for both teams it was their second goalless draw of the season.
Fishburn Park 3 Mackinlay Park 0
Duncan Marson, back in the team after a two-week lay-off through injury, announced his comeback by opening the scoring in the eighth minute when he outpaced the Mackinlay defence before beating the keeper to score his seventh of the season. Ten minutes later Paul Graham made it 2-0 when he had the simple task of side footing home into an empty net and the match was all over by half time when Scott Clarkson second.
Grangetown 1 Carlin How 1
the first half was very even and at half time the match remained goalless. The second half was again very tight but in the 67th minute the Boys Club took the lead with a hotly contested penalty, Stephen Scott scoring his fifth of the season. Carlin How pressed forward and with four minutes remaining Nicky Ward with his third of the season made it 1-1 and a point each.
New Marske SC 2 SMG Redstripes 1
New Marske did their outside hopes of avoiding the drop the power of good and at the same time pulled SMG Redstripes back into the fight. Adam Taylor gave the home side a great start when he scored after only five minutes and the home side doubled their lead in the 38th minute when Darren Henry scored. In the second half the match was again end to end and with both sides unable to make any further impression on the score until the 80th minute when Mark Taylor pulled it back to 2-1, but a few minutes later he was sent of leaving his side an uphill task which they were unable to overcome.
Nunthorpe Ath 4 Richmond Town 4
the home side took the lead after ten minutes when Paul Normington, who was later named the home side's man of the match, scored. In the 33rd minute Michael Sartini pulled it back to 1-1 and right on the stroke of half time Adam Emson, with his 14th of the season, gave Richmond a 2-1 half time lead. A minute into the second half the match was all-square when Paul Lancaster made it 2-2, the same player then struck again in the 50th minute to give Nunthorpe a 3-1 lead. On the hour Normington seemed to have secured a Nunthorpe win when he scored his second of the match and third of the season, but Richmond showed their fighting spirit and Matthew Hill pulled it back to 4-3 in the 80th minute. In the last minute a corner was poked home from close range by Tom Ptak to secure a 4-4 draw.
Thornaby pressed forward against visitors Stokesley who have slowly pulled themselves out of the relegation battle. Darren Fixter had a good chance after 35 minutes to put the Youth Club ahead but a defender managed to get his foot to the ball and clear. Five minutes before half-time Matty Drury pulled off a good save from a Gary Waite header to send his side into the half time on level terms. In the second half it was again very even but with eight minutes remaining the Youth Club scored the only goal of the game when Chris Wrathmall broke clear and hammered the ball home from eight yards.
Division Two
Darlington SRM 1 Dormans FC 4
Darlington SRM slipped further toward the bottom two in the division after losing to champions-elect Dormans. The first half hour was very even but then the second division's leading scorer James McGowan struck to give Dormans the lead. He then added his second five minutes before half time. In the second half DSRM got back into the game when Steve Wake scored his first of the season but DSRM went down to ten men when Ross Ainsley had to go off injured. Dormans got on top and ten minutes from time McGowan secured his hat-trick before Glynn Swinnerton secured the points for Dormans.
Guisb Town Res 1 Teesside Link 4
Guisborough were pressed back and had keeper Andy Macdonald to thank for keeping them in the game. Teesside Link took the lead from a corner when Paul Livingstone scored with a header in the 16th minute. This gave the home side a kick up the backside and despite attacking the visitors they still trailed at half time. Five minutes after the break the home side were level when Tom Burke scored with a 20 yard shot. Guisborough pressed but they seemed to tire and in the 70th minute Robbie Shaw gave the visitors a 2-1 lead and five minutes later he added his second of the match to make it 3-1. Tony Wray wrapped up the Link victory five minutes from time.
RT Raine Trophy Semi-Final
Teesside Ath 2, Billingham Wndrs 4
After an even opening 20 minutes, Billingham took the lead when Adrian Serrechia scored, five minutes later the match was even when a solo run by Chris Ellis beat his defender and made it 1-1. Then Paul Arnold raced away from the Teesside defence and beat the keeper with a low shot to make it 2-1. The Billingham side took a 3-1 lead when Serrechia headed home and two minutes before half-time Arnold, with his second of the match, gave the visitors a 4-1 lead. In the second half the Redcar side pressed forward but they failed to make any impression until a brilliant overhead kick from Mark Farrell pulled it back to 4-2 and that was the final score. Billingham will play Dormans in the final at Stokesley Bank Holiday Monday, May 3.
