Before the match between Big W and Cleveland Inn A two minutes silence was held for Bill Evans, a coach of Big W until his death recently.

Big W looked the better side and it was Bill Evans' son Andy who put Big W ahead. Cleveland Inn raised their game and Roy Ngigi put them level before half-time. As has been all season Big W fell apart in the second half and Cleveland Inn fired in a further five. Ngigi recorded his hat-trick and Bowman scored twice and John Morrison wrapped it up.

Iceland pipped Redcar Glazing by the odd goal in three. Tom Connelly, normally a defender, scored both for Iceland while Stewart Sizer scored for Redcar Glazing.

Parklands came from behind to beat Boosbeck St Aidans 3-1. Simon Davis put Boosbeck ahead to lead 1-0 at the break. Parkside got out of the traps quickly in the second half and John Pinchbeck netted twice then Michael Flynn added the third.

John Davey Ltd kept up their title challenge with a 6-2 victory over SIFC. Ken Kemp scored twice for JDL. Gary Fagan made it 3-0 at the interval. SIFC hit back with goals from Ali Camara and Stephan Harbrook but JDL took control when they hammered in three more. Mark Crocket netted following a keeper error then Chris McGill fired home two quality goals.

Gables Manders and D and E Locksmiths fought out a 2-2 draw. Only minutes into the game Gables keeper was robbed by Karl Lilley who tapped in when Martin Shackleton scored D and E's second. Things looked bleak for Gables Manders but they struck back when Len McLoughlin found the net then David John scored a second. Both teams had chances to win but on reflection a draw was a fair result.
