AN ecumenical procession of witness will take place in Sedgefield village next Friday, starting at St Edmund's Church, at 10am, followed by a service in the church at 2pm.
An ecumenical service will be held in St Catherine's Church, Fishburn, on the same day at 11.30am.
During Holy Week, there will be Holy Communion at Thurlow Grange, Sedgefield, on Monday, at 2pm.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, at 7pm, there will be meditation and prayers in St Edmund's Church, and on Maunday Thursday, at 7.30pm, a sung Eucharist of the Last Supper and Passion Watch.
On Easter Day, Holy Communion at St Edmund's Church will be at 8am, sung Eucharist at 10.45am and evensong at 6.30pm.
There will also be a sung Eucharist at 9.15am in St Catherine's Church
