WOMEN aged between 50 and 70 who live in the Eston and Middlesbrough areas are to be invited for breast screening.
They will receive a letter over the next few months inviting them to take part in the screening
Women will automatically receive a letter to attend when their GP practice becomes involved with the breast screening programme and need not book an appointment.
Those attending the programme will visit the mobile unit at Eston Clinic, Fabian Road.
Middlesbrough PCT has sponsored Future Regeneration of Grangetown community transport to provide free transport to and from the mobile unit.
