A game of football is to be played tomorrow to forge community spirit.
Sixty youngsters, aged between 13 and 18, from different cultural backgrounds, will compete in the match at Arlington Park, Stockton.
It has been organised by Michael Sogbetun, from the Corner House Youth Project, and Satnam Singh, from Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder Parkfield and Mill Lane.
Mr Singh said: "We can feel the enthusiasm of the young people who are looking forward to playing in this tournament, and it is wonderful to see so many are keen to take part.
"Football is a wonderful way of bringing together communities on common ground, where everyone can enjoy the game."
