A VISIT to Durham City's Crook Hall and Gardens has become a favourite Easter venue for many families.
And this holiday weekend, hundreds of visitors are expected to drop in at the medieval manor set in four acres of themed gardens.
The hall's Easter Bunny is also all set to dish out traditional eggs to youngsters taking part in treasure hunts.
As usual, parents will be invited to relax among the spring blooms while children have their faces painted or play traditional games.
Crook Hall's four themed areas include the Shakespeare Garden, the Silver and White Garden, the Cathedral Garden and the Secret Walled Garden. There is also a moat pool, an orchard and a developing maze.
Visitors can also enjoy a cream tea in the Courtyard Caf or Georgian Dining Room.
Entry costs £4 for an adult, concessions £3.50 or £12 for a family.
