CHILDREN displayed their acting skills at an audition in Darlington yesterday.
Youngsters visited the town's Civic Theatre to compete for a part in a stage adaptation of Henry James' novel The Turn of the Screw.
Theatre company Summer Rep Productions needs a boy and a girl aged 11 to 14 to star in the show.
Those attending the audition had to read a minute-long piece in front of director Ian Dickens.
The show will run at the Civic from June 29 to July 3.
