A CHAMPION bodybuilder has organised a race night to help raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
June Woodall, from Saltburn, is doing her bit to ensure a team from Marske Vets, in Marske, can take part in the Keswick Challenge, in June, to raise cash for the charity.
The challenge involves a ten-mile mountain climb, 26-mile bike ride and six-mile canoe paddle.
Vet James Haddow and a team of six volunteers have to raise £2,500 for the Guide Dogs for the Blind before being accepted on the challenge.
So far, they have raised more than £2,000, thanks to the generosity of businesses and clients.
The race night will be held at McQuays, Saltburn, on Saturday, April 24, from 8pm to 11.30pm.
A football shirt worn by Middlesbrough Football Club star Massimo Maccarone during the Carling Cup tournament and signed by club members will be raffled.
Tickets are available from Healthwise Fitness Club, Saltburn. To help raise money for the charity, call Marske Vets on (01642) 488777.
