STAFF at lawnmower factory Flymo took part in a charity event yesterday.
About 500 staff, as well as suppliers and visitors to the plant in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, paid a donation to buy a yo-yo and practise some tricks.
Some proved skilled, while others did well to avoid getting the string tangled.
The day was held to raise money for the Greenfingers Appeal, a national charity that creates gardens at children's hospices.
Spokeswoman Carol Ramsden said: "The day was great. It certainly unearthed some hidden talents, with some staff doing tricks with their yo-yos.
"The Greenfingers Appeal is not only the gardening industry charity, but a very worthy cause we were delighted to support.
"It is helping to make a difference to poorly children who need to access hospices across the UK."
She said they made about £500.
