A DELEGATION of education officials from east Africa will arrive in the North-East later this month on a learning visit.
The group of 16 from Nigeria's Delta State will undertake a five-day management skills training course with ClickHere, a training company in Billingham, Teesside.
They include senior officials from the Delta State Primary Education Board.
The group approached ClickHere after members heard of a management training programme it provides for a number of blue-chip companies with interests in Nigeria.
ClickHere director Susanne Convery said: "Management training in the UK, and particularly the North-East, has gained an international reputation, and we are looking forward to welcoming a party of people who are highly influential in education in this region of Nigeria."
The programme, which runs from Monday to Friday, April 19 to 23, will include time management, motivation skills, decision-making, communication and presentation skills.
ClickHere, based at the Grange Business Centre, provides training for more than 200 North organisations.
