CHILDREN enjoyed an afternoon hunting for Easter eggs in a fun day organised by health staff.
Darlington Primary Care Trust health visitor Sue Godfrey and Sandra Bentley, an early years practitioner, staged the event for about 25 youngsters at the Red Hall child health clinic and mother and toddler group.
As well as hunting the Easter egg, the youngsters spent the day painting eggs and playing with clay.
"Everyone had a really nice time," said Ms Godfrey.
"We are hoping to organise a teddy bear's picnic next in the summer."
