AN international housing and development company is regenerating one of the last pockets of vacant land in a North-East city centre.
The development, by Taylor Woodrow, is adding to the renaissance of Newcastle's Quayside area.
Working for Silverlink Property Developments, Taylor Woodrow is building a five-storey extension to the Travelodge hotel.
The development also includes a five-storey car park, six-storey office and retail development and Manor Chare, a complex of 64 apartments.
Trinity Gardens, a £55m development, will form an integral part of this prime site alongside the River Tyne.
The development is close to the international music centre and Baltic Art Gallery, and a stone's throw from the award-winning Millennium Bridge.
