A VISITOR attraction is offering all the ingredients for an Easter day out - with lambs galore and fluffy chicks.
Hall Hill Farm, near Lanchester, County Durham, will also be giving hundreds of Easter eggs away on Easter Sunday and Monday.
Easter is lambing time at the working farm, and visitors can see the newborn lambs and bottle feed the young animals.
Farm tourism manager Ann Darlington said: "We are expecting a lot of lambs during April and, with all the other animals too, there's lots going on.
"We even have a small flock of Shetland sheep that have unusual coloured lambs."
Other attractions at the farm include donkey rides, llamas, pigs, goats and highland cattle.
There is also a daily programme of activities and free tractor and trailer rides. Other facilities include a tearoom, gift shop and picnic area.
The award-winning farm has recovered and gone from strength to strength since the foot-and-mouth crisis and now attracts 60,000 visitors a year.
The farm is open from 10.30am to 5pm. Admission is £3.95 for adults and £2.95 for children, while a family ticket costs £11.75.
