A NURSERY has received the highest grades possible in an Ofsted report.
Staff at Hartlepool College of Further Education's First Steps Nursery said they were delighted at the news.
The nursery was praised by Ofsted inspectors for developing an excellent relationship with parents, creating a sense of belonging in the children and having friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Julie Mallinson's three-year-old daughter, Eve, attends First Steps Nursery four mornings a week.
She said: "The staff always show care and concern for both the parent and child, and are there to offer advice and support when needed."
First Steps Nursery looks after 55 children on a part and full-time basis.
