LEARNERS have attended an awards ceremony to celebrate their achievements.
More than 400 young people from the Tees Valley were invited to the Learning and Skills Council's party, in Middlesbrough, to celebrate completing courses.
Organisers included the North-East Chamber of Commerce.
The event combined a night of dance and entertainments with prize-giving.
Presenters from radio station Galaxy gave awards to learners to recognise their achievements at the party.
Young people from training organisations including the Chamber of Commerce, Darlington College, Redcar and Cleveland Learning Gateway, and One Voice Tees Valley attended the event.
Pam Eccles, executive director of the Learning and Skills Council Tees Valley said: "It was a fantastic night for the young people, who deserve the opportunity to celebrate their application and dedication to achieving their qualifications.
"Events of this nature are further proof of our commitment to raising the level of skills in the Tees Valley and opening up new opportunities and challenges to people living in this area."
