A DOG walker could hold vital clues in the hunt for a man missing for more than two weeks.
Detectives last night renewed an appeal for witnesses after the disappearance of David Stringer.
The 23-year-old, from Doxford Park, Sunderland, was last seen at about 3.30pm on Friday, March 26, when he left a friend's house in Malings Close, Hendon. He was said to be in a distressed state. He is described as 5ft 6in, of stocky build, with blue eyes and a pale complexion. He was wearing a cream jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
Police are keen to trace a man seen walking a black Staffordshire bull terrier on nearby Hendon beach when Mr Stringer was last seen.
