WORKERS have raised more than £100 for charity after raffling off a Boro season ticket donated by Far East fan Graham Ridler.
The lawyer, who lives in Hong Kong, donated the ticket to raise money for the Butterwick Hospice after he bought it simply to secure a seat at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium to witness Middlesbrough's Carling Cup victory against Bolton.
Having returned to Hong Kong, he donated the ticket to Huntsman Polyurethanes at Wilton, near Redcar, who held the raffle.
Thanks to the generosity of the 106 employees, the company raised £115 for the hospice and Chris Russell, a senior process co-ordinator, is the ticket's new owner.
"It is great to support local charities like Butterwick Hospice," said the 51-year-old.
