CHILDREN and their parents took part in a learning activity day this week and made spotted frogs at Margrove Heritage Centre.
The event was part of a session of free activities held at local museums to keep children occupied during the Easter holidays.
About 60 children, mainly from the Guisborough and Redcar areas, attended the event, although some were staying with family on holiday at the nearby caravan park and others, including a child from Brighton, were staying with relatives in the area.
Liz Vine, outreach education development officer, said: "The event was fully booked and very successful.
"The council provides these free activities to keep the children occupied while they're not at school.
"It is a form of introduction to museums and teaches them about history and art."
