DIVISION ONE: BEADS FC 2 Richmond Town 0: The home side completely dominated and finally took the lead after missing a number of good chances.
Steven Boyle scored in the 35th minute, five minutes later they had the chance to double the lead when they were awarded a penalty, but Michael Johnson hit the top of the crossbar. In the second half the home side again dominated and but failed once again to convert the chances created. In the 70th minute Paul Chamberlin broke clear but was brought down in the box, Johnson making no mistake from this spot kick to make it 2-0. Paul Callen then broke through but his shot his shot hit the bar.
Carlin How 3 Thornaby FC 4
Thornaby fell behind to an 18th minute penalty when Martin Say was adjudged to have been brought down and Graham Solomon scored his 11th of the season from the spot. They drew level in a fast and furious, and an often bad tempered, match when Michael Arif tried a long range shot that keeper Craig Cole failed to pick up until it bounced past him and into the net. Just on the stroke of half time Thornaby took a 2-1 lead when a long ball over the top found Danny Jones who nudged past the Carlin How central defenders Ross McMillan and Graham Solomon to fire the ball under the keeper. Ten minutes into the second half the match was all square then a cross from Scott Davies was headed out of the Thornaby area but only as far as Danny Wilkinson who fired home with a 20 yard volley to make it 2-2. A minute later Carlin How went 3-2 ahead when Kevin Solomon cut in from the wing and fired under the keeper. Four minutes later it was all square at 3-3 when Jones ran through the defence and fired home his 20th of the season. At this point Thornaby had Wayne Mahoney sent off for kicking out at Kevin Solomon, the match seemed to calm down for a few minutes but in the 80th minute a long ball down towards the Carlin How goal was missed by a defender and Arif raced on to gleefully put the ball away for his second of the match to give them all three points.
Hartlepool FC 2, Grangetown BC 1
Hartlepool got off to a good start when good work by John Rose resulted in his flick into the box being headed on by Glen Watson and Paul Malcolmson drilling the ball home from ten yards. Four minutes into the second half Hartlepool doubled their lead when Watson put Gary Moore through and he scored at the third attempt. The home side seemed to sit back with the two-goal advantage and invited pressure from the Boys Club and although they pressed they did not make the breakthrough until the last minute when Alan Shepherd tucked the ball home.
New Marske SC 0 Thornaby YC 3
New Marske Sports Club look doomed to relegation after this latest defeat. They battled well against Thornaby Youth Club and at half time the match remained goalless. But ten minutes into the second half Darren Fixter, with his 15th of the season, gave the Youth Club a 1-0 lead, Malcolm Allen then made it 2-0 in the 70th minute and scored again five minutes later to make it 3-0.
Nunthorpe Ath 1 Fishburn Park 3
Fishburn took the lead in the 25th minute through Michael Young but Nunthorpe struck back five minutes later to make it all-square at half time with a first of the season from Andrew O'Shea. Three minutes into the second half Fishburn took the lead for the second time with Young's second of the match. Despite pressure from Nunthorpe, the visitors increased their lead in the 80th minute when Lee Found broke clear and made it 3-1 to secure the points from their penultimate match of the season.
DIVISION TWO
Guisb Town Res 1 Darlington Albion 1
Guisborough Town Reserves slip to the bottom of the second division after taking the lead against Darlington Albion but only managing a draw against the ten men visitors who had a player sent off. After a goalless first half Andrew Davies gave the home side a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute. The visitors struck back through Chris Baines, but had Lee Jenkinson sent off for violent conduct. The home side pressed for a winner but failed to make any further impression on the game and slip to the bottom.
Richmond Mvrks 5 Billingham W 6
The opening half-hour was evenly contested but Lee Mitchell gave Billingham Wanderers a half time 1-0 lead. Three minutes into the second half the Mavericks were back on level terms when Mark Fleetwood scored. The Wanderers bounced back to take the lead again a minute later when John Cairns struck, the live wire Paul Arnold then gave the Wanderers a 3-1 lead with Jonathan Stewart making it 4-1, and Arnold making it 5-1. The Mavericks hit back through Wayne Gredziak in the 66th minute, Steve Clarke then pulled it back to 5-3 in the 72nd minute, Gredziak added his second and 28th of the season in the 77th minute to make it 5-4. But Arnold grabbed his hat trick goal in the 80th minute to make it 6-4 with his 16th of the season. Andrew Blenkharn pulled it back to 6-5 in the 89th minute bit it wasn't enough to prevent defeat.
Whinney Banks 7 Darlington SRM 1
The opening 20 minutes was very even but in the 22nd minute Craig Owens scored. Three minutes before half time Daniel Lockwood made it 2-0 and Arran Ward made it 3-0 right on the stroke of half time. In the second half Whinney Banks added further goals from John Blamires in the 56th minute, Andy High made it 5-0 and David Barnes made it 6-0. Darren Thompson pulled a consolation goal back in the 75th minute, but Jason Earl recorded Whinney Banks' biggest victory of the season to leapfrog Guisborough Town off the bottom of the league.
BURNESS PLATE
Darlington CB 2 Teesside Link 0
Darlington Cleveland Bridge top group one of this mini-league after this victory over Teesside Link. After a goalless first half Paul Horsley gave the Cleveland Bridge the lead on the hour, Teesside Link were then reduced to ten men and 20 minutes later Horsley added the second to secure their second win.
Darlington RA Res 2 Dormans FC 3
The match was played at a fast pace and Dormans took a 10th minute lead through Glyn Swinnerton. But the RA battled back and drew level in the 32nd minute through Steve Walker, but the visitors took a 3-1 lead into half time when James McGowan made it 2-1 and added his second a minute later. In the second half the RA pressed forward and pulled it back to 3-2 in the 74th minute through their top goalscorer Darren Kokes but despite last minute pressure could not get back on level terms.
North Ormesby 2 Teesside Ath 6
The visitors led 2-1 at half time and ten minutes into the second half Athletic increased their lead when Chris Ellis made it 3-1. Ten minutes later he made it 4-1 before Farrell made it 5-1. Jamie Thompson, with his first of the season, pulled it back to 5-2 but Ellis secured his hat-trick in the 73rd minute to take the points.
