PARISH councillors in Heighington have expressed concerns about under-age drinking.
The village's parish council is worried about the trend among youngsters, particularly after complaints about vandalism of bus shelters in recent months.
At last week's meeting, there were reports of empty bottles of alcohol being found there on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
PC Julian Brown, the village beat officer, said: "I think there might be an issue in Heighington of older teenagers, over 18, buying alcohol for the younger ones, or sharing it with them, but proving that is difficult."
