AN amateur dramatics group in Darlington is getting ready for a musical production of The Jungle Book.
St Teresa's Parish Productions (Stepps) will be performing the show, largely based on the Rudyard Kipling book, at Darlington College of Technology, from Thursday to Sunday. The group has been established in the town for 15 years, with members ranging in age from six to 67.
Stepps director Angela Cox said: "We have been rehearsing this since January, and we have got people of all ages taking part. We are really looking forward to it." Tickets cost £4 for adults, £3 children, or £12 for a family ticket.
They are available on (01325) 352349 or people can pay at the door. Performances will be staged at 7.15pm from Thursday to Saturday, with two matinees on Saturday and Sunday, at 3.15pm and 3.30pm respectively.
