A SCALE model of one of the region's best known landmarks is flying the North-East's flag at a tourist attraction.
Made from 10,000 Lego bricks, an Angel of the North model is a key feature of a new landmark collection at the Legoland theme park, in Windsor, Berkshire.
The Antony Gormley masterpiece has been recreated by modelmaker Rob Larsen-Pass and is only one metre high with a two metre wingspan.
It took a little more than three weeks to complete.
Mr Larsen-Pass said the project had presented him with a challenge, to create the curves of the body with tiny square Lego bricks.
