A TOWN'S past has been celebrated with a series of events at various venues. More than 1,000 people are thought to have attended the Guisborough Heritage Day on Teesside.
Visitors were given the chance to take part in a guided walk around the town, visit displays in the priory and Sunnyfield House and also at Guisborough Museum and Prior Pursglove College.
Other venues with displays and activities included St Nicholas' Church, Zetland Masonic Hall. A fairground organ was also played outside the Methodist Church. Meanwhile, at Guisborough Priory, a Eurasian eagle owl taken along by Steven Webb, of Kirkleatham Owl Centre, was a big talking point.
