A Thirsk firm has won a £1.4m contract to develop a new base for one of the UK's leading cycle clothing and accessory distributors.
Severfield-Reeve Projects, of Thirsk, has won a contract to design and build a warehouse and offices at Thirsk Industrial Park for Zyro Plc.
Zyro Plc is based in Boroughbridge, and has a £12m turnover. The company supplies high-performance cycle clothing and accessories to UK retailers. The new build means more storage, office, training and showroom space.
Zyro Plc joint founder and managing director Julie Ellison said: "We selected them because their integrated service means they are responsible for the entire project and this allows us to get on with our business while they take care of all aspects of our development."
Severfield-Reeve Projects managing director Lindsay Ross said: "This is an important addition to our already extensive work here."
Work is due to start soon and be completed by the end of the year.
