TWO North-East companies have won Queen's Awards.
Domnick hunter, in Birtley, County Durham, has won an International Trade award, while Integrated Display Systems (IDS), in Wallsend, North Tyneside, was recognised in the Innovation category. Domnick hunter's award was for its process filtration operation.
IDS's automotive handbrake-setting equipment was also recognised. Ford Europe is using the equipment for the production of new models of vehicles.
