Loftus Town Council is holding a reunion next Thursday in an attempt to find out more about its history.
Former councillors, employees and users of Loftus Urban District Council services have been invited to turn up from 10am until 2pm.
Any memorabilia of the old council will be welcomed as an archive is prepared which will date back back to the 19th Century. Alison Atkinson, clerk of the council, can be contacted on (01287) 641000.
