PJS 2 Coulby Newham 5: Coulby Newham FC are finishing the season on a high with only two defeats since February.
PJS, on the other hand, have struggled and will be happy for this season to end allowing a re-group in the summer.
Coulby started well and commanded much of the first half taking a comfortable three-goal lead.
Richie Cook snatched the first goal with a simple tap in following good build up play from Richie May. The second goal was more fortuitous with the PJS defender giving up a poor pass for Richie May to take up while working closely alongside Richie Cook who received the ball to place it in the back of the net.
Shaun Jenney got on the score sheet just before the interval when he ran at the keeper Steve Carter and placed it in the back of the net.
Three goals apart Steve Carter in PJS goal deserves recognition saving PJS on numerous occasions with some great saves.
PJS did come out with a renewed confidence in the second half and started to challenge Coulby, from a resultant corner PJS scored with a great header and brought the game closer when they were awarded a penalty that was duly converted.
This spurred Coulby to press on and the superior centre back Paul Kirby had his hand extending the lead when he put Richie May through to score with a great ball and he got on the score sheet himself to make certain of all three points.
Thornaby Vill. 0 Middlesbrough PO 4
Post Office kicked against the wind in the first half and looked the more comfortable. On 20 minutes from a corner Terry Edwards knocked the ball onto John Symon who made no mistake in converting his chance.
Thornaby Village did get a chance from a corner when Andy Fuller headed a goal bound chance out.
In the second half it was all Post Office and a succession of corners produced the second goal when Michael Youll headed an unstoppable ball into the empty net.
The goal of the game came on 60 minutes when Paul Leonard knocked a long ball to David Pattison who hit a great volley past the Village keeper Graham Turner.
With ten minutes to go the Posties wrapped it up with a quick thinking throw from Scott Hislop, John Leach received the ball and quickly moved it on to Paul McGlade who made no mistake for goal number four.
Kings Head 5 Stokesley SC 0
Stokesley normally come to Guisborough and give Kings Head a tough game but this meeting was all one-way with Kings Head gaining a two-goal advantage at half time.
The goals coming from Gary Round who showed great technique to flick the keeper and Neil Hodgson who with two Stokesleley players marking him he took the ball past both of them to hit a great goal.
In the second half Mark Hallett got on the score sheet when from a corner Neil Hodgson played a great ball for Mark Hallett to hit the ball on the half volley hard into the roof of the net.
Brian Crawley scored with a trademark header and Paul Parkes finished the scoring with a great header.
Gary Caines the Stokesley keeper deserves recognition in this game for some great saves that he made during the game.
Ennis Square 5 Woodmans Arms 2
Ennis Square performances have gone from strength to strength and if only they had got all three points in two games against PJS and Thornaby Village then they could have had a serious challenge for the championship.
This was a tough game for Ennis as Woodmans were back to full strength but heavy pitch conditions favoured Ennis attack while finding Woodmans defence to be slow.
Ennis opened the scoring from a penalty and Jonny Kirk made no mistake as he blasted the ball into the top of the net.
Woodman's Arms got back in the game when their striker found himself one on one with Steve Tighe the Ennis stand in keeper and made no mistake bring the half time score level.
In the second half Ennis pressed on and found themselves attacking in numbers. Wayne Skelton took the ball from his own half taking on a number of players working a great one two with Duncan Evans before putting the ball past the Woodies keeper.
Steve Gent scored number three after coming on as a sub some great passing with Lee Brady who knocked the ball inch perfect for Steve gent to score.
Richard Mason scored a wonderful goal from around 45 yards as the ball came to him Richard Mason hit the ball low and hard beating the Craig Sharp the Woodman's Keeper.
Woodman's made an effort to get back in the game when Martin Batty scored from a resultant corner.
Phil Bellerby scored what was to be Ennis Square's 100th goal of the season when he took the ball through two defenders to hit a low driven shot into the corner of the net.
NS Bulls Head 2 Thornaby Mandale 2
NS Bulls Head performances have improved greatly now they have found a consistent team. Results have come through some great work on the pitch and overseen by a great management team of George Benson, Baz Marshall and Mike Vickers.
Bulls Head stormed into an early lead that surprised the reigning champs a corner was put in and Steve Thornton managed to get a touch on the ball to put it past Thornaby Mandale's keeper Gary Poole.
Steve Lambert redressed the deficit when he worked a great ball swerving it past Bulls Keeper Johnny Hart.
The game was going end to end when on 30 minutes the referee gave a penalty to Mandale only for Bulls Keeper Johnny Hart making a great save with his foot as he dived early.
In the second half the referee gave a contentious penalty to Mandale when a defender was adjudged to have hand balled, the Bulls players protested vehemently stating that it was ball to hand and not intentional. Following the dispute a Bulls Head player was dismissed and the penalty taken, Andy Dyson made no such mistake to take Mandale into a 2-1 lead.
Bulls Head now with ten men showed great character and got back in the game on 75 minutes when Mandale Keeper Gary Poole parried the ball only for Simon Nelson to get on the end and hammer into the back of the net.
St Mary's Coll. 6 North Skelton Vill. 2
Although North Skelton Village managed to pick up points in recent games they were no match for At Mary's.
St Mary's College could have done with their newfound form early in the season and they may have been challenging for the title. However with a big semi-final game on the horizon the College boys are staying focused and so far so good.
South Park Rang. 2 Linx Hemlington 3
This game started a little scrappy until the opening goal that had everyone scratching their heads, what a wonder goal it was from South Parks, Peter Truscott, The ball was played down the left hand side as Peter Truscott took the ball to the byline and with no one in support he drove the ball like a pinball hitting the near post rebounding against Dean Simpson the Linx keeper and rebounding into the empty net.
Peter Truscott put Rangers into a two-goal lead when a great flick on by Paul White resulted in the Rangers striker making no mistake.
South Park Rangers were kicking themselves when they had a great opportunity to go three goals in front but the open goal chance was missed.
Linx Hemlington are a great side at getting back into the game and Saturday was no different, following a period of sustained pressure a free kick was awarded that was delivered perfectly for one of two Linx players to put in the back of the net.
The equaliser came when the ball was lost in midfield and a quick break resulted in goal number two. Linx took the lead and all three points five minutes from the end following some great passing.
l British Steel Sports versus South Bank Utd was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
