ONE of the UK's most promising young music stars is launching his pop career from a North-East studio.
Schoolboy Tom Morley rose to prominence after coming third in the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year, which was watched by more than 100 million TV viewers.
The ten-year-old, who lives in Cumbria, has chosen to record his first single at White Wolf Recording Studios, based on the Ever Ready Industrial Estate in Tanfield Lea, near Stanley, County Durham.
Tom has been touring the North-East as part of the talentSTAR schools tour, organised by Stanley-based Genius Entertainment. He releases his debut single, My Song For The World, on May 24.
