THE leading ladies of a Darlington drama group's latest production have had become quick-change artists.
Members of St Augustine's Repertory Society, STARS, are starring in The Farndale Avenue Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery, in which the four lead characters play a number of roles.
Producer Jan Scott said: "Dress rehearsals have required some nifty work by everyone, but we've managed to keep the chaos on stage, where it's supposed to be."
As the comedy unfolds, the Farndale ladies - played by Marie Little, Martina McCo**om, Noelle Brockbank and Carol Keen - relish the limelight, unaware of their farcical situation. Attempting to keep law and order is Insp O'Reilley, played by Jeff Surma.
The play is on at St Augustine's Parish Centre, Larchfield Street, from today until Saturday, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £4 and £3 from the Tourist Information Shop or Williams the Music People.
