AN initiative to give teenagers the chance to develop their interest in the arts is looking for budding reporters from the North.
Blast, a BBC initiative, is looking for 16 to 19-year-olds to take part in the Young Reporter Scheme.
Successful applicants will be given an eight-week unpaid work experience placement on the BBC's Where I Live websites, writing about the arts in their area and building on their writing and reporting skills.
They are needed to cover York, Newcastle and Middlesbrough, part time, between July and September.
